Frequently asked questions
Good to know.
What does a painter cost in Oslo?+
A painter's hourly rate in Oslo is typically NOK 500–800. Many firms quote per square metre — often NOK 80–150 for interior walls, depending on surface and number of coats. Figures are indicative market levels, not a quote — the final price is always agreed in the offer after a site visit.
How long does it take to paint a flat?+
A 70–80 m² two-bedroom flat is normally painted in 3–5 working days, including filling of minor damage and two coats. Wallpapering or extensive filling adds some time.
Do you paint exteriors too?+
Yes, facade painting and exterior maintenance are done in the summer half of the year. Describe the facade in the form and you'll get offers from painters with the right equipment and experience.
Is there a minimum job size?+
We mainly broker larger jobs and normally don't take single jobs under NOK 100,000. If you're unsure whether your project fits, send the form anyway — we'll let you know.
Who is responsible for the work?+
The agreement is made directly between you and the supplier, and the supplier is responsible for the work. Our role is to vet who gets into the network and to follow up after the job. If a disagreement arises, we help with the dialogue to find a solution.
